OMI Industries, a world-leading provider of natural odor control solutions is pleased to announce opening of its new 5,000 sq. ft. research and development center located in Rising Sun, Indiana.
OMI Industries CEO and Managing Director Phil Coffey, along with Rising Sun Indiana Mayor Brent Bascom, facilitated the ribbon cutting ceremony at OMI’s campus. Members of the Rising Sun Economic Development Committee and Chamber of Commerce were also be on hand for the festivities.
Steve Lattis, Director of International Sales and Dr. Laura Haupert, Director of Research & Development for OMI Industries led local government officials and guests on our of the new facility, with a community reception immediately following.
Deep Roots in Ohio County

State-of-the Art R&D Center
At 5000 square feet, this new state-of-the-art R&D center houses three chemical fume hoods, odor-detection testing systems as well as additional office and event space. The new center will serve to accelerate research and development efforts, develop new and innovative products as well as support continuous improvements in quality control.
